Kala Paani is undoubtedly a must-watch series. Only because of the gripping mystery and drama in the background of a survival thriller. Also because of the extraordinary artistry of the show and the talented team behind it. Directed by Amit Golani and Samir Saxena. Kala Paani continues the legacy of their previous works that made us laugh and scream. Coupled with the superb writing skills of Sandeep Saket, Biswapati Sarkar, and Nimisha Misra.
It is wonderful that the word “Kala Paani” is used to symbolize the Andaman Islands. As well as the diseased lake where the disease occurred. All elements of the series are original: entertainment, drama, writing, mystery, science; Everything has been prepare with care.

The series begins with a festival in the Andaman Islands that promises financial benefits to locals and several businesses. Dr. Singh, played by Mona Singh, discovers an untapped virus that seems to be spreading without warning in the Andaman Islands. The plot revolves around the spread of the disease, the secrets behind it, and plans to stop it, in which the Oraka tribe plays an important role.
During the film, Darwin’s theory of evolution and scientific theories are emphasize and explain. Good audio not only helps tell the story; it also helps you hear the story. The definition and importance of ethnic culture are very well done. For example, the moment when Amey Wagh was sterilize and then tried to experiment by placing a nose in his nose was a funny and disturbing moment that brought us back to COVID-19.
His portrayal of S.D.P.O. The ability to change characters through acting and humor is hilarious, especially his role as “Doink Masala Jazz Chips”. His attitude and passion for “Doink Masala Jazz Chips” are very interesting. He always won hearts with his acting.
It has not yet finish it’s story as it was the Season-1.
Another notable performance is Sukant Goyal’s portrayal of the character ‘Chiru’. The transformation of his character is amazing and his words and speech stand out in the series. Vikas Kumar also delivers a powerful performance, especially in scenes involving his wife and children, evoking strong emotions whenever he appears on screen.
The only disappointment in the series is that Mona Singh’s role is limit only to the first episode. Which is regrettable considering her outstanding performance. It certainly ranks among the top web series in the country.
